It’s hard to find the hostess who at least once in my life had prepared this simple salad of beets with garlic. The main advantage of this dishes in addition to spicy taste and colorful color, is its maximum cheapness (because beets is worth a penny, as, indeed, and garlic). The health of this salad comes many: after all, garlic is excellent strengthens the immune system, and beets cleans the blood, nourishes the body with vitamins and gives additional forces. Combining salad with garlic, walnuts and lemon juice, you can achieve beautiful soft taste. This salad can be served under the meat in tandem with simple garnish and can be eaten as a separate dish.

Ingredients for salad with garlic

  • Beets – 2 pieces;
  • 50 grams of mayonnaise;
  • Walnuts – 50 g;
  • Garlic – 3 cloves;
  • Lemon juice is optional.

Salad recipe with garlic

  • Boil beetroot in lightly salted water.
  • Wait until the beets cool, grate it on a grater with large divisions.
  • Garlic skip through the press or RUB on the finest grater.
  • Nuts cut into small pieces.
  • Mix all the ingredients and dress them with mayonnaise and sprinkle with lemon juice. Add salt and pepper.
