Vegetarians can just make rolls of rice, Nori seaweed and cucumber, for example. This time we will prepare a classic thin rolls (wrapped rice and filling in a sheet of seaweed) with salmon. Suggest to buy all the products so as not to interrupt the process of making trips to the store.

Ingredients to prepare sushi at home

  • Round rice – 450 g;
  • Nori seaweed – 1 pack;
  • Salmon (fillet);
  • Soy sauce;
  • Rice vinegar – 40 ml;
  • Shrimp (optional);
  • Ginger pickled in a jar;
  • Wasabi powder or prepared sauce;
  • Processed cheese;
  • Cucumbers;
  • Mat for making rolls;
  • Salt, sugar – 10 ml.

How to make sushi: recipe for rolls with salmon

  • Mix vinegar with salt and sugar, mix thoroughly and put on fire. The mixture should be heated until that time, until the sugar is dissolved.
  • Start cooking the rice. To start, wash the rice thoroughly, then place it in a saucepan and cover with water (200 ml cereal – 250 ml of water). To bring the rice to a boil over medium heat, then reduce heat and cook for another 15 minutes. After completing the procedure, leave the rice for another 10 min.
  • Pour in the rice dressing, mix. Leave everything to cool.
  • Lay the sushi Mat and prepare a sharp knife. Slice the cucumber,cheese, salmon thin long strips.
  • On the Mat lay a sheet of nori, cut in half (thin rolls). The sheet is completely covered with a thin layer of rice, closer to the edge lay a strip of fish, cucumbers and cheese along the length of the sheet. Take a sheet along with the Mat over the edge and wrap the tube roll. After you form the roll, slice it into small pieces with a sharp knife previously dipped it in the water.
  • Decorate rolls with shrimp. Serve with wasabi and ginger.
